Tunein Radio Bandwith

As we saw earlier, The Tunein Radio application is using an Internet connection to download the streaming radio. And of course it affects to your bandwidth consume.

Because not all people use the unlimited internet package, such as using the internet package 2-6 GB per month. So you will feel very worried to run applications tunein radio as often as possible.

You must know, the bandwidth consume depends on what radio station you listen to, because every station have different encode of their audio, like; 32kbps, 64kbps, 128kbps and more.

As example, if the radio station has encoded about 128kbps, it can be you will be consuming 40-60 Mb per hour.

Anyways, you can pick a lower bandwidth from the streaming options. Choose options > Stream > Lower bandwidth.
